Gregory Harold Wacker

September 16, 1946 - March 1, 2025

Gregory H. Wacker, 78, of Sheridan, formally of Anderson, CA, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Sheridan Memorial Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Gregory was born in Billings, MT on September 16, 1946. He went to 12 different schools before his parents settled in California. He graduated high school and enlisted in the Navy. He worked as a millwright in various coal mines and stayed on at Decker Coal for 27 years. He then went to work for Holly Sugar for 11 years until he retired.

Gregory was always working on his Harleys, taking care of his cows, and tinkering in his shop.

He is survived by his wife, Robin Wacker, children, Jason Wacker and Megan Butler, grandchildren, Ellie Butler, Cooley Butler, sisters, Barbara Streetman and Lynn Wacker and brother, Roger Wacker.

A Military Graveside Service is at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in the Juniper Heights at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. A reception will follow at Luminous Brewhouse.

Memorials donations to honor Greg for the Big Horn School "Angel Fund" may be sent in care of Sheridan Funeral Home, 1423 O'Dell Court, Sheridan, WY 82801. This money will be given to help families in need for school lunches.
