Gwendolyn Ann Hamilton Waddell Curtis, Age 89, passed away January 13, 2026, at Mountain Plaza Assisted Living where she had been a resident for 5 years. She was born August 17, 1936, in Tulare CA, The youngest of four children of the late Teddy Ray and Helen Hamilton.

Gwen was preceded in death by her first husband Thomas Lee Waddell and their son Jeffery Jay Waddell. She was also preceded by her second husband Clayton Victor Curtis.

She was a member of Bethesda Worship Center. A ball of energy, she worked at Safeway and McDonalds well into the years when most people retire. She enjoyed gardening and playing with her boxer Marshall as well as spending time with her children and grandchildren.

 Gwen is survived by her son Steven Blane Waddell and his wife Susan Ann Waddell of Sheridan WY, as well as her daughter Connie Lynn Waddell and her husband Quentin Cox Hilpert of Duncan AZ. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
