
Ken was born in Sheridan, Wyoming on January 26, 1958, to Tony and Joyce Pelesky. He graduated from Sheridan High in 1976. Ken later married Teresa (Teri) Castle on April 23, 1977. They had 2 children, Kathryn Joyce Pelesky and Kenneth Duane Pelesky II.
Ken had a few different jobs, as diverse as Equipment Operators, over the road truck driver with over 1 million logged miles, dispatching trucks, Ditch Rider, Brand Inspector, farmhand, stockyard hand, and Heavy Equipment Operator with Blaine County Road Department until his death.
He later moved his family to Montana in 1990 for many of those employment opportunities. Ken's hobbies included woodworking, hunting, camping, fishing, and holiday decorating.
Ken is survived by his wife Teri of Chinook, mother Joyce Pelesky, brother Don Peleskly (Kim), sister Kayleen McKinzie all of Sheridan, WY, daughter Kathy Mitchell (Dan), and son Ken Pelesky (Elaine), grandchildren Brittany Dawson (Kurt), Bradley Pelesky (Chloe), Tye Mitchell, Dawson Pelesky (Casey), Dahlton Skavland, Anna The Boy (Jacob), Tharin Sikveland, Creed Sikveland, Joshua Stevens, great grandchildren Peighton, Raelynn, Madysen, Zion, Rowan, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Tony Pelesky and maternal and paternal grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Chinook 4-H, Chinook FFA, and the Chinook Girl Scouts.
